I’m Yeva Rajpal, an Interior Designer  based in Brooklyn, NYC. My design philosophy is rooted in the belief that space is an emotional landscape-each detail, each gesture, a reflection of feeling.

This way of thinking began during a deeply formative time in my life. At 18, just as I arrived in a new country to begin college, I lost a close friend. With no clear idea of how to survive in unfamiliar surroundings and carrying a heavy heart, I turned inward. A friend once told me: “Convert  your sad energy into something beautiful.” That moment shifted everything. I chose to pour my energy into design. Though I came to interior design with no formal background, I approached it instinctively-with feeling as my guide. What began as a coping mechanism slowly transformed into a philosophy: to turn grief into passion, isolation into creative clarity. Over the years, those quiet, difficult hours became working hours. Design became both my refuge and my expression. Today, my work is driven by this lens-transforming emotion into intentional, evocative spaces that reflect how I’ve learned to move through the world. I create not just to build, but to connect, to feel, and to show that beauty can emerge from even the deepest places.
